Magic Seasoning Blends for Chefs - 7-Ounce Salt Canister
Since 1982, Chef Paul Prudhoe's Magic Seasoning Blends has been thriving. The business started in a garage and has now expanded to a 50,000 square-foot plant. At present, the company offers sixteen different all-natural, MSG free blends, including Magic Pepper Sauce, seven types of ground, dried Magic Chiles, four Magic Sauce & Marinades, and various cookbook gift-packs.
To use Magic Seasoning Blends in Chef Paul's recipes, simply add the amount of dry herbs and spices called for in the recipes "Seasoning Mix" and substitute the appropriate blend in the specified amounts for each cookbook. For instance, for a chicken dish, you would use Poultry Magic. The conversion amounts vary depending on the cookbook. For Chef Paul Prudhoe's "Seasoned America" Cookbook, substitute approximately 3/4 of the amount, for "Fork In The Road" Cookbook, substitute approximately 1/2 the amount, and for "Fiery Foods That I Love", "Louisiana Kitchen", "Kitchen Expedition", and "Louisiana Tastes" cookbooks, substitute approximately the same amount.
If a recipe calls for a sweet spice or an unusual ingredient, simply subtract the amount before adding the dry herb seasoning mix, then add back the subtracted ingredient(s) to the Magic Seasoning Blends amount required for the conversion.
Magic Seasoning Salt, an all-purpose blend, is perfect for sprinkling on a variety of foods such as fries, salads, eggs, pasta, vegetables, chicken, seafood, steaks, chops, or roasts. It can be used at the table in place of salt or pepper, and can also be substituted for the normal use of salt, pepper, and other herbs & spices in a recipe. This all natural blend contains no MSG or preservatives and is Kosher approved.
